The Brigadier General Fabio Giunchi, commander of the Aerocooperation School, held at the Alti Studies for Defense Center (CASD), in the presence of those attending the Higher Defense Studies Institute (IASD) and the State Higher Institute Maggiore Interforces (ISSMI), a conference on the skills and competences matured and the peculiar characteristics of the training programs of the Guidonia Interforces Institute.

After a brief introduction on the organization and institutional tasks, as the main national institution for training and training in the field of interpretation and analysis of remote sensing images and FACs (Forward Air Controllers - Advanced Air Controllers), General Giunchi has his speech focused on the future challenges that the Aerocooperation School is opening up, including the internationalization of its training offer, with the ambition to "become, with the opening to the Armed Forces of allied countries and friends, a reference point not only national [...] ".

The presentation then continued with the interventions of the heads of the two training fields of remote sensing and aerospace, centered on the relevant training procedures and on the development of teaching, in line with the innovative operational needs received by the Armed Forces, the experiences gained in the various operating theaters and technological developments in the sector, also thanks to the numerous collaborations established with academic institutions and national and international organizations.
