On Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 January, the 2016 edition of the Pitti Immagine Uomo, an event in which the famous national brand “Aeronautica Militare Collezione Privata” also took part. On that occasion, a representation of men and women from the Air Force was invited to participate. Guests at the inauguration were the commander of the Institute of Military Aeronautical Sciences, general of the air division Stefano Fort, together with the head of the General Office for Communication, General Inspector Lucio Bianchi and the general of the Air Division Fabio Molteni, commander of the Experimental Flight Center.
Invited to the showroom also the commander of the 9 ° Stormo and of the Experimental Flight Department with a representation of pilots of the respective departments.
The guest of honor was the air squad general Settimo Caputo, who spoke on behalf of the Chief of Staff of the Air Force: "I bring the greetings of the Chief of Staff General Preziosa and the satisfaction of the entire Air Force for the ten-year collaboration of the 'aeronautica and the company "Cristiano di Thiene" which, with its clothing, allows to promote the image of the armed force, its history and its traditions ".
The owners of the brand Aeronautica Militare Private Collection they concluded the interventions by associating fashion with the fly, stating that flight is style, it is art, it is talent, all characteristics that, applied to fashion together with the distinctive traits of the most glorious aeronautics heraldry, offer a "sublime interpretation".
