On Monday 07 March, at the Politecnico di Milano, there was the award ceremony for the "Politest Top Schools", the upper secondary schools throughout Italy whose students achieved the best results in the admission tests to the university in 2015.

The ceremony, held annually at the Castilian Aula of the Polytechnic, aims to emphasize "the importance of the preparation that incoming students received in high school, as an indispensable guarantee for university education”, Stated the rector of the Institute, Professor Giovanni Azzone.

"This is why we particularly value the enhancement of secondary secondary schools that contribute in a fundamental way to the formation of students".

The institutes awarded the "G. Douhet" Air Force School, "for the excellent results achieved last year by his students in the admission tests to the university".

In fact, the totality of the students who, having left the Douhet School, took part in the tests, was classified in the first 5% of the participants in the competition, achieving scores higher than the 90 / 100esimi.

The award, an environmental purifier designed with technology developed at the Polytechnic, was withdrawn by the commander of the Douhet School, Colonel Michele Buccolo, who participated in the event along with a representation of the students.

On the sidelines of the event, the students of the School, together with the representatives of all the award-winning schools, received a brief illustration of the study paths in the fields of architecture, design and engineering, and were also able to visit the laboratories of the Department of Physics of the Polytechnic.
