At the ceremony, which will be open to the public, the defense minister, sen. Roberta Pinotti, senior defense chiefs and representatives of the institutions, who will join forces with the Air Force Chief of Staff, General Pasquale Preziosa, and with colleagues to pay their last respects to Captain Alessandro Dotto, Captain Paolo Piero Franzese, to Captain Giuseppe Palminteri and to Captain Mariangela Valentini.
To respect the desire of the relatives of the fallen to maintain a climate of recollection and solemnity, it will not be possible to take photos / videos and interviews. The military aeronautics will provide to the material press for media coverage and news of the event.
The corpses will leave the morgue of Ascoli Piceno at 9: 00 on Monday 1 September, for the airport of Falconara Marittima, where they will board an aircraft of the Air Force for transport to Ghedi.
The burial chamber, within the Ghedi base, will be open to the public on Monday afternoon 1 September.
