General Miniscalco new director of DIPMA

Yesterday at the "Madonna di Loreto" hall in Palazzo AM the handover ceremony was held at the head of the Directorate for Employment of the Air Force's Military Staff (DIPMA) between the incoming director, general of the air division Gianpaolo Miniscalco and outgoing general team leader Roberto Corsini.

Civil and military authorities of the Air Force and the Armed Forces took part in the ceremony, presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, general of the air squad Pasquale Preziosa.

The outgoing director and the incoming director highlighted what are the cornerstones to which the Air Force personnel must daily be inspired for the fulfillment of their mission, that is ethics, competence and passion, so that their work contributes to increase the prestige of the Armed Force and the spirit of cohesion among its members.

General Corsini, in thanking the military and civilian personnel who intervened, expressed his gratitude to the staff of the Directorate, praising their professionalism and competence such as to always achieve the objectives and guidelines set by the Armed Force and the head of SMA. It also extended its recognition to high commanders and joint bodies for the use of the Army, Navy and Carabinieri for their fruitful and constant collaboration.

General Miniscalco, in turn, said he was honored to have been called to the leadership of such a prestigious department and at the same time said he was confident of finding in the team left by his predecessor a valid support to continue to operate in the best of the best ways and respecting the established times.

The Chief of Staff, after thanking the kind guests who attended, highlighted the very high levels of efficiency achieved by the Armed Force both internationally and nationally. He thanked General Corsini for his work and wished him the best of luck for the new and prestigious position of advisor for Military Affairs of the President of the Republic, a position not held by Air Force personnel for nine years.

Subsequently, addressing General Miniscalco, he urged him to continue on the path taken by his predecessor, certain that the management staff will be able to support him in the best possible way.
