On Tuesday 11 July, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, general of the air team Luca Goretti, the ceremony for the change in command of thegeneral office for managerial innovation between air division general Vittorio Iannotta and air brigade general Marco Lant.
In his farewell speech, General Iannotta warmly thanked the UIM staff for their constant commitment and for the important goals achieved.
The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Gen. of Luca Goretti air team, in entrusting this new assignment to gen. Lant, underlined the peculiarity and importance of the office, whose activity is aimed at the continuous improvement of the organization.
THEgeneral office for managerial innovation (UIM) is the body reporting directly to the head of SMA which deals with Research & Development in the field of organizational innovation, providing consultancy to the top of the organization for the implementation and management of integrated innovative services of Project, Quality , Knowledge and Human Resources, for the constant improvement of organizational and decision-making processes and for the implementation of its programs and projects.
The UIM also performs the function of Portfolio, Program and Project Office (P3O) for the Air Force. Finally, within the UIM, theCertification Body (OdC) AMi-CERT, accredited for the certification of professionals and management systems; this OdC represents a unicum within the Public Administration.
