The activity, which involved 109 candidates, was conducted by five military personnel from the Selection Center, including officers and non-commissioned officers, experts in psychology, personnel selection and IT.
The Team, making use of a sophisticated automated system also used for aspiring Italian academists, configured, illustrated and administered to foreign candidates the complex phases envisaged by the proposed testological battery (Safety Assessment Aviation - SAAIR).
The objective of the predictive tool used was to verify the existence in each candidate of the best skills and aptitudes relevant to flight, in order to initiate them to the training of military pilot at the Air Force Academy and the Italian training schools.
The realization of the event, strongly desired by the Air Force Staff and the School Command / 3rd RA, is the result of a synergistic collaboration between the selective team, coordinated by Lieutenant and Colonel Claudio Capobianchi, the commander of the Air Force representation Italian in Kuwait, Colonel Federico Giannitrapani, and the top military authorities of Kuwait who expressed their esteem for the excellent results achieved on the occasion.
