The head of SMA meets the countess Caproni

(To air Force)
16/03/16

This morning the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, general of the air squad Pasquale Preziosa, in view of the next birthday which will mark the end of his active service, wanted to bring a special greeting to Countess Maria Fede Caproni, daughter of engineer Gianni Caproni.

Two aviation and flight lovers who met and entertained a few moments remembering the figure of Gianni Caproni, pioneer and father of the Italian air force, and took the opportunity to relive some personal anecdotes about their experiences, all linked by a single common thread: the world of flying yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The friendship, firm and long-standing, between the general Preziosa and the Caproni family will continue on the wings and in the wake of common passions, with an eye to the future and to the sky.

Countess Caproni is always close to the Air Force, rejoicing with the Armed Forces for success and supporting her in the most difficult moments, never failing to make her contribution to the men and women of theBlue Weapon.

Gianni Caproni (1886 - 1957) was one of the largest industrialists in Italy. Suffice it to consider that at the end of the First World War, around forty thousand people worked in his factories. He is honored to have put his genius at the service of aviation and the country.
