On Saturday night 10 January, from the 2.35 to the 3.50, an emergency medical transport operated by a Falcon 50 flew from Naples Capodichino to Milan Malpensa to transport a fifty-five-year-old man suffering from chronic respiratory failure and needing a delicate lung transplant it would be held at the San Matteo hospital in Pavia.

On Sunday 11 January a new humanitarian transport was instead carried out from Lecce to Paris Orly to transport a 7-year-old girl in need of specialist care that can only be carried out at a hospital in the French capital.

The end of 2014 and the beginning of the new year were marked by medical transport for the 31st Wing of Ciampino. In the last two days of last year, on 30 and 31 December 2014, three medical transports were carried out for as many newborns of a few days, all in imminent danger of life and in need of immediate specialized care.

On 30 December in the evening, at 19.30 pm, a Falcon 50 of the 306 flight group of the flock transported a three-month-old infant from Catania Fontana Rossa to Ciampino suffering from very serious dilated heart disease and in the throes of severe heart failure. 20.40 was immediately taken care of by the doctors of the Bambin Gesù hospital in Rome where the child would receive the necessary specialist care. As soon as the first baby is left, the same crew is immediately taken off again for Lamezia Terme to collect another patient who is only 3 days old; the little one was embarked on board at 22.50 pm and an hour later he was entrusted to the care of the specialists of Bambin Gesù who would have treated the acute renal failure that placed him in imminent danger of life.

On the last day of 2014, a new emergency medical flight performed by a Falcon 900 easy of the 93 flight group landed in Ciampino at 13.10 pm with a Cagliari baby born just 24 hours before transport on board. The tiny patient aboard his thermal cradle was transported to Rome to also be entrusted to the specialist care of the Bambin Gesù hospital for the treatment of a delicate neonatal pathology.

The 7 January, on the other hand, the first two 2015 sanitary transports by the flock focused on two compatriots of 57 and 61 years in need of liver transplantation and transported respectively by Grottaglie to Pisa and from Naples to Venice to reach the hospitals that would have operated the very important organs.
