The Frecce Tricolori will give the virtual start to the Formula One Grand Prix to be held in Monza on Sunday 6 September.

The National Acrobatic Patrol, born in the 1961 as a gift of the Italian Air Force for the hundred years of its unity, has decided to give Italy this particular tribute precisely on the day of the 55th anniversary of aerial acrobatic activity.

The link between the Italian Air Force and Formula One was born years ago when the Baracca family decided to give Enzo Ferrari the symbol of the Prancing Horse emblem on the livery of the aircraft of the main Italian aviation ace during the great war.

After the flyover on the Monza car circuit, the Frecce Tricolori will continue to perform on the skies of Rivolto (Udine) where on 5 and 6 September there will be two days dedicated to sharing values and passion for the world of flight with citizens. An opportunity for the Air Force to make the community aware of the activities it continuously carries out to guarantee the safety of the country.
