The ceremony took place in the students' parlor of the Institute, in the presence of the family members of the jurands and of the permanent staff of the Academy.
In his speech, General Giancotti pointed out that these pupils from different regions, family backgrounds, education and experiences find themselves in the Academy because after weeks 12 will have to work as officers of the armed force, some for a period, others for a long time and will be progressively growing, responsible for activities and the achievement of objectives, but above all for and for the people they will direct, not simply to do a job but to fulfill the mission of the armed forces, that is to say to work for the safety of citizens.
