These exercises aim to refine the ability to integrate and interoperability between the different components called to contribute to the complex and delicate research activities and first intervention, on the occasion of any natural disaster that occurs on national soil.

"Sharing experiences and procedures with relief organizations and teams on land is always an important opportunity to develop and increase those fundamental synergies to be ready at all times to intervene when we are asked, often in prohibitive conditions, at night, with the bad weather, in particularly inaccessible and isolated areas ” - underlines the commander the 9 ° Stormo Colonel Pasquale Di Palma - “In this sense this activity is certainly a great opportunity to perfect more and more techniques and procedures for air rescue, a sector which is complex by nature, which requires perfect integration between the military and civilian realities in the delicate task of rescuers".
