In recent days, a delegation of high-ranking Omani officials visited the Experimental Flight Center (CSV), in order to learn about the uniqueness and specificity of the activities carried out by the Center.

The delegation from Oman was welcomed by the commander of the Experimental Flight Department (RSV), col. Alessandro De Lorenzo, to whom he illustrated the activities and daily commitments of the CSV.

The visit then continued at the RSV flight line where the aircraft supplied were included in the static display, including the EF-2000 and the C-27J.

At the end of the visit the delegation proved more than satisfied for the synergy that shines between the various departments of the Center and the results that can be achieved thanks to the heterogeneity of the activities carried out.

The CSV brings together under a single command all the institutions of study and experimentation of the AM The Body is structured on four departments: Experimental Flight Department, Chemical Department, Armament Department, Aeronautical and Space Medicine Department.

The Center represents the main advisory body of the FA and of the AD for in-flight tests of aircraft and weapon systems, the analysis and chemical-physical assessment of structural and consumer materials, aerofisiological training and experimentation in the field of aeronautical and space medicine, management of operating software and operational verification of weapon systems.

The consolidated professionalism of the staff, the supply of advanced equipment, the continuous contacts and exchanges with important national and foreign research institutes and, not least, the possession of the ISO 9001-2008 quality certification, which contributes to the value of the results of the study and research activities also from a commercial point of view make CSV a precious resource.
