24/10/14

In the days of 16 and 20 October 2014 a course for first aid training and BLSD (Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Early Defibrillation) took place at the Caserta specialist school.

The course, aimed at the military and civil staff of the SSAM, was organized by the local body infirmary, in collaboration with the 118 operations center of the Campania region and with the contribution of a non-commissioned officer of the school.

At the end of the course, the theoretical and practical tests were administered to qualify the personnel to use the defibrillator and to enable it to intervene in situations of possible emergency.

The SSAM provides for the military, cultural, technical-professional and moral training of the specialists (sergeants and volunteers of troops in permanent service), destined to be employed in the departments of the AM, both in Italy and in the operating theaters abroad. , as well as non-managerial staff involved in a process of retraining / professional qualification and aircraft maintenance personnel of other armed forces and police forces. The Authority also provides logistical support to the Italian army soldiers employed in the "Safe Roads" operation.
