After the official delivery ceremony, held in Vigna di Valle on 30 January, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Federal and Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed and the Minister of Defense Crosetto, the aircraft - restored by the specialized staff of the Historical Aeronautics Museum Military - was handed over to the Ethiopian Government.

On 11 February, in Addis Ababa, in the presence of President Sahle-Work Zewde, Prime Minister of the Federal and Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali and Mayor Adanech Abiebie, as part of the inauguration ceremony of the Victory Memorial Adwa, the A VII “Ethiopia 1” Tsehai aircraft was positioned within the same monumental area.

A unique example, used by the Imperial Ethiopian Air Force in the early 30s for liaison and training flights, the aircraft was delivered after careful restoration work by the technicians of the Historical Air Force Museum (MUSAM).

The delivery of the historic aircraft is in fact part of the broader scope of cooperation and development projects which have repercussions not only in the economic and sustainable development fields but - as also sanctioned by the Cultural Collaboration Agreement signed by Italy and Ethiopia in 1997 - also in the cultural field, for a continuous commitment to mutual knowledge and sharing of their respective national historical heritages.
