A welcome return to the Academy a few months after his first visit to Pozzuoli after the installation at the prestigious NATO Command.
On his arrival the senior officer was received by the air force general Fernando Giancotti who in presenting the admiral to the visitors highlighted the importance of the new integrated training approach that combines the conceptual and experiential aspects and exposes the cadets to concepts and knowledge that allows them to open their minds and acquire tools for reading the complex environments in which they will operate.
In his speech Admiral Ferguson has declined the concept of "leadership" in complex environments, characterized by strong technological changes and by the multiplication of areas of instability and crisis.
