07/10/16

Today, at the Multi Crew Crew Training Center (CAE MC) the course has ended Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) for rotary wing. This course involved instructors of the 72nd Wing of Frosinone as MCC Instructor, two military pilots of the 9th Wing of Grazzanise and two pilots of the National Fire Brigade as attendants.

Performed at the CAE MC of Pratica di Mare, the MCC course for rotary wing stems from the synergistic work within the Command of the Schools of the Air Force, which aims to optimize every training and educational resource available with the aim of providing complete and excellent flight training.

The two patrons of the 9 ° Stormo completed the preparatory course for their next employment on the EH-101 aircraft, while the two pilots of the National Fire Brigade operate from the Ciampino base on the AB 412 carrier.

The MCC course is periodically carried out by the CAE MC in favor of pilots of the armed forces and of the Armed Corps, Italian and foreign, who carry out activities on multi-crew transport aircraft (Multi Crew). The course, lasting two weeks, includes theoretical lessons and practical sessions on the flight simulator, is recognized by the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) and is carried out according to the international civil regulations in force dictated by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The purpose of this course is to acquire and consolidate the skills necessary for the management of a multi-crew flight mission, in order to maximize the Crew Resource Management (CRM), improve safety on the fly and the effectiveness of the mission itself. To this end, adverse weather conditions and low visibility approaches are simulated, both in normal and emergency situations, which aim to develop the decision-making and leadership skills of the flight crew inserted in a complex and changing operational context.
