Completed the internship as an experimenter for two officers from the Experimental Flight Department

After 14 months of intense activity, the pilot captain Luca G. and the lieutenant engineer Serena M., respectively belonging to the 311 ° flight group and to the technical group of the Experimental Flight Department (RSV) of the Air Force of Pratica di Mare (RM), have successfully completed the "Pilote d'Essais" and "Ingénieur Navigant d'Essais" course, held at the Ecole du Personnel Navigant d'Essais et Réception (EPNER) in Istres, France, in the period from May 2015 to the beginning of July 2016.

Both are part of the Promotion “Jean Boulet”, exceptional godfather and holder of 17 world records in aviation, chosen ad hoc on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the French school, founded in 1946.

Of the 25 participants in the 2016 stage, coming from 6 different countries (besides France and Italy, also Spain, the United States, England and Sweden), 5, among which the two Italian officers received, in addition to the title of pilot and experimenter engineer, the II level Master in experimentation engineering, issued by the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE) of Toulouse.

The partnership between AM and EPNER has distant roots, dating back to 1948 and the collaboration continues from year to year with the training of pilots, engineers and experimenters mechanics who then find employment at the Experimental Flight Center.

The commander of the 1st division took part in the ceremony of delivery of the certificates Logistic Command of the AM, general of air division Fabio Molteni. At the event also an AM C-27J aircraft, exhibited in a static display together with 70 other aircraft from different countries.
