Citizen in imminent danger of life transported urgently from Brindisi to Pisa with aircraft of the Italian Air Force

Today a Falcon 900 aircraft of the Italian Air Force transported a 35-year-old Italian citizen in imminent danger of life from Brindisi to Pisa for subsequent admission to a local hospital.

Emergency medical transport was established by room top situations of the air crew command following the request of the Lecce prefecture and the authorization of the presidency of the council of ministers.

The aircraft, belonging to the 31 ° Stormo of Ciampino (Rome), took off from its base at 17.00. After taking the patient from Brindisi airport, at 18: about the plane 40 left for Pisa, where it landed around 20.15. The patient was subsequently transported by ambulance to the destination hospital.
