Yesterday the transfer of deliveries to the summit of the Combat Force Command of Milan between the air division general Claudio Gabellini and the air brigade general Silvano Frigerio.

General Gabellini defined the period of command at the CFC as the best possible crowning of his long operational career in the Air Force, addressing sincere wishes to General Silvano Frigerio for the new and prestigious position he assumed.
General Gabellini from the 1 October will be the first Italian officer to fill the demanding and important task of chief of staff of NATO Air Command in Ramstein (Germany).
In his speech, General Girardi, in praising the quality of the work carried out by General Gabellini and in confirming his full confidence to General Frigerio, highlighted how the principle of continuity in change, through a constant turnover of energy, guarantees the capacity to manage the present and to prepare in the most effective way to face the challenges of the future; just that spirit and the principle that General Frigerio has shown to honor with all his energy in his intervention of settlement.
