Change at the command of the ReSIA

On Thursday 25 September took place the changeover to the command of the Automated Information Systems Department (ReSIA) between Colonel Sandro Sanasi, outgoing commander, and Colonel Costantino Russo, incoming commander.

The event, chaired by Brigadier General Massimo Berti, commander of the 3 division of the Logistics Command, saw the participation of military and civil authorities, together with a large group of military and civilian personnel from the organization.

In the farewell speech, Colonel Sanasi sincerely thanked the staff of the department, calling it a priceless and irreplaceable valuable resource, which "... beyond all expectations has allowed, with his work and enthusiasm, the achievement of all the objectives set by the armed form despite the increasingly limited financial resources available ”. At the conclusion of his speech, he addressed a wish to Colonel Russo for the new and prestigious post he held.

Colonel Russo, in his inauguration speech, in thanking the superior authorities for the trust placed in him, wanted to express his happiness for the opportunity he had at the head of a department of absolute value, expressing his heartfelt thanks to Colonel Sanasi for the effective work of direction of the department "... with the assurance that we will proceed on the path already traced and with the awareness that large-scale projects can only be achieved with perseverance".

Brigadier General Berti congratulated the outgoing commander for the intense and productive commitment shown in his position and for the brilliant results achieved and finally turned his personal praise to the men and women of the ReSIA for what was done well, hoping at the same time an ever greater commitment to the future under the command of Colonel Russo.

The ReSIA deals with the creation and maintenance of systems and application procedures for the automation of logistical / administrative, health and armed force personnel processes, in order to increase their operations by ensuring the management and control of software configuration and databases guaranteeing their interoperability with those present at other aeronautical or inter-force and international bodies. It also ensures the functionality of the Aeronet network infrastructures by managing their interoperability with the other Defense networks and provides security arrangements, as well as the management of the cyber threat. Finally, it deals with the training of AM staff employed in the IT sector, as well as with '' assistance for users of the information systems provided by the IT hub.
