The act was signed, for the Air Force, by the general inspector Pierluigi Ciardelli, head of the 2 Division of Logistic Command and, for the Arma dei Carabinieri, by the general of division Enzo Bernardini, head of the II Department of the General Command Carabinieri.
According to the agreements provided for by the convention, the sites that the Air Force has set up at the Padua and Grazzanise bases to carry out the asbestos remediation campaign from its AB-212 helicopters will be made available to the Carabinieri.
The agreement crowns a work of cooperation and in-depth study of accident prevention and environmental issues and is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by both the Armed Forces to protect the health of their personnel and environmental protection.
