The last mission of the four is still ongoing: a F of the 31 ° Wing of the Italian Air Force in fact took off a few minutes from Alghero with destination Genoa. On board a child of just one day old in imminent danger of life, needing to be transferred urgently from the University Hospital of Sassari to the Gaslini of Genoa.

Always a F, at the first light of dawn today, he had carried out the emergency medical transport of a one month old baby who, due to a serious pathology, needed to be transferred to the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital in Rome. The airplane, which took off once again from Alghero airport, landed in Rome Ciampino where an ambulance was waiting for the little patient for subsequent transport to the Roman hospital.

The same plane had already taken off from the island yesterday afternoon for the transport of another Sardinian child of just ten months from Cagliari Elmas airport to Bologna. The child, hospitalized at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari, due to a pathology that placed him in imminent danger of life, was transferred urgently with a military flight to allow him to quickly reach the Sant'Orsola hospital in Bologna. for the necessary care he needed.

Furthermore, on the night of yesterday, the prefecture of Pisa requested the Summit Situation Room of the CSA the use of a military aircraft F of the 31 ° Stormo for the transport of a medical team and two organs for an emergency transplant for the Pisa-Naples-Pisa section.
