Continuous training for Forward Air Controllers

It ended at the Aerocooperation school of Guidonia (RM), the 13 ^ update session dedicated to certified / qualified operators Forward Air Controllers of the Italian Armed Forces, specifically designed to provide updates on the evolution of the reference doctrine and on techniques, tactics and procedures (Techincs, Tactics and Procedures - TTPs) in the employment sector.

During the days spent at the Aerocooperation School, the operators in training also carried out virtual "guides" CAS (Close Air Support - Close Air Support) with simulator, necessary to maintain the currency, and carried out a final evaluation test, according to national and NATO sector regulations.

The present edition was attended by 36 soldiers from the operational departments of the Italian Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the Carabinieri.

The Aerocooperation School is the military inter-agency of specialized training and technical-operative value in the field of the interpretation of remote sensing images (aerial and satellite) and in that of aeroterrestre and aeronaval cooperation. For the training and qualification of the Forward Air Controllers, the commander of the School is the "National Certification Authority" and the training / training process has been recognized and certified by NATO.
