At the request of the Ancona prefecture, a team of blasters specializing in the deactivation of chemical loading bombs intervened to carry out blasting operations on a war device found in the town of Corinaldo (AN).
The bomb technicians, belonging to NBC Inter-technical Logistics Technical Center (CETLI NBC) of Civitavecchia, intervened in support of an EOD team (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) of the genius railway manager of Castel Maggiore (BO).
The operations took place in conditions of complete safety and were successfully completed in such a time as to allow a rapid return to the homes of people who had been evacuated within a radius of 800 meters.
All activities were conducted under the supervision of a Advanced Coordination Point chaired by a representative of the prefecture, in cooperation with local institutions and law enforcement agencies.
