Italian and Croatian TACP/JTAC in training

An exercise activity involving personnel from the units was concluded in the Novo Selo training area Tactical Air Control party (TACP) and gods Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) of the units under the Italian and Croatian Army.​

The structures, framed in forward land force battle group (FLF BG -ITA FN) led by Colonel Mariano R. Scandurra, conducted training activities Close Air Support (CAS) in support of ground maneuver units, allowing JTACs to direct fire from AH 64 attack helicopters Apache belonging to the US military.​

The aim of the activity was to allow attack helicopters to engage ground targets to implement and integrate the assets procedures of the multinational battle group with the American ones.​

The NATO mission conducted by the national contingent is a measure of a defensive nature, proportionate and in line with the international commitment of the Atlantic Alliance aimed at strengthening the posture of deterrence against potential threats and defense of the Euro-Atlantic spaces.​
