In recent days, the Army soldiers, engaged in the "Safe Roads" operation in Rome, carried out numerous interventions in competition with the police, for the protection of security and public order.

At the "Ponte Mammolo" underground station, in two distinct activities, a Romanian citizen affected by a European arrest warrant and a citizen of Serbian nationality were identified with a deportation decree in place and a notification for robbery.

In the metro stations of "Vittorio Emanuele" and "Malatesta", the military identified several individuals in possession of drugs.

At the "Ottaviano" underground station, the Army patrol stopped a Malaysian citizen with an expired residence permit and with a backpack containing several screwdrivers, pliers and a cutter. The man was unable to provide a valid justification for the possession of these tools and therefore was assured to the police.

In the area in front of the Court of Cassation (Piazza Cavour), the soldiers on duty intervened by blocking two fleeing individuals chased by the police.

At the "Eur Fermi" metro station, a quarrel between several people has quelled.

At the "Piramide" station, the patrol on duty blocked a Filipino, in possession of a knife, who performed serious urban acts near the quay. At the "Giardinetti" underground station, a citizen of Asian origin has been identified who possesses a clearly forged document. The stranger was found with four cell phones and two knives, one of which with a curved blade.

Finally, at the reception center for asylum seekers (CARA) of Castelnuovo di Porto (RM), the military, together with the police, have identified and blocked the person responsible for a theft that occurred inside the structure.
