Thirty-three civilian and military students from Europe and the United States completed a one-week study module at the Army Application School under the so-called Military Erasmus, organized by the Center for Studies on Post-Conflict Operations in collaboration with the Interdepartmental Structure of Strategic Sciences of the University of Turin.

Conducted entirely in English by military and civilian teachers, Erasmus "with the stars" whose correct name is European initiative for the exchange of young officers it consists in the exchange of students, both civilian and military, between Italian and foreign military schools and universities. The study plan of the module named Common Security and Defense Policy is conceived by the European College of Security and Defense, an agency that operates under the aegis of European External Action Service (EAAS) of Brussels. The learning methods include individual studies and group work; ample space is reserved for remote study through targeted programs of e-learning.
