The experimentation of helitransport for the Special Operations Craft - Riverine (SOCR) type vessel conducted with a helicopter from CH-47 F medium transport
The activity was carried out by the staff of the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" brigade, assisted by specialists from the standardization and testing office of the Army Aviation command.
The experiment, commissioned by the IV logistics department of the Army General Staff, made it possible to combine the vast experience of the lagoon regiment in amphibious and riverine operations with the skills of the Army Aviation in promoting, addressing and optimizing the use of helicopter transport in scenarios in which the amphibious capabilities of the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" brigade can be deployed.
