The day of sports for the disabled, organized by the Folgore Paratroopers Brigade

Last Friday in Bracciano (RM) took place the fourth edition of "Folgore No Limits". The event began with the air-drop of 5 military paratroopers using the free fall technique, landed on the municipal sports field, among them Brigadier General Roberto Vannacci, commander of the "Folgore" parachute brigade.
Immediately after the flag-raising ceremony, the mayor of the municipality of Bracciano took the opportunity to grant honorary citizenship to the 185th parachute artillery regiment, which hosted part of the event inside the Roman barracks.

The event was attended by about 1000 students from neighboring schools and about 100 children belonging to different pro-disabled associations.
The sports associations of the area active in sports for the disabled have conducted various sports including volleyball, canoeing, rowing, dragonboat, badminton, basketball, rugby, athletics, horse riding. The Folgore soldiers proposed the Tactical Functional Training Army (training program that aims at the physical and operational preparation of the paratroopers) and set up thematic stands on parachuting.

All united in sport, without limits. Military, civil, sports associations, schools, the disabled and families have come together to share the values ​​exalted in sports such as discipline, generosity, perseverance, spirit of sacrifice, willpower and team spirit.

Finally, in the afternoon, a CH-47 helicopter parachute air-drop took place on Lake Bracciano.
