Accompanied by the commander of the anti-aircraft artillery, Brigadier General Bernardo Barbarotto, the SME sub-director met the military deployed at the gates of the Capital who, with the SAMP / T weapon system, contribute to the control of Rome's skies in cooperation with the 'Air Force.
The device implemented by the Defense since early December 2015, within the framework of the air safety framework linked to the "Jubilee of Mercy", provides, among other things, for the use of a "counter-air" command post of the Italian Army composed of sophisticated apparatuses able to operate fully with all the national defense structures.
General Borrini turned to the military involved in the operation, recognizing their passion, the spirit of sacrifice and attachment to the unit they belonged to, complimenting the daily work carried out both nationally and in missions abroad.
