The 66th regiment trains in aeromobility during APT I 2017

As part of the exercise called "Airmobile Permanent Training I 2017" underway in Casarsa della Delizia (PN), headquarters of the 5th AVES "Rigel" regiment, the air mobility courses ended yesterday, which saw the infantrymen of the 66th "Trieste" regiment, to test themselves in numerous and intense training activities. In particular, the personnel, who began the demanding training more than a month ago, conducted aircraft descent activities with the techniques of fast rope and rappelling in day and night environment.

The course ended in the presence of the commander of the "Friuli" aircraft brigade, general Salvatore Annigliato and the regimental commander of the 66th "Trieste", Colonel Nicola Di Sabato, who delivered 27 certificates of advanced aircraft qualification to the participating personnel, 4 patents for rapid descent manager and two licenses for air mobility instructor.

The APT I 2017 exercise, which will end on June 16, makes a decisive contribution to raising the training level of all personnel thanks to the conduct of activities carried out in a challenging and highly realistic scenario.
