The Great Hall of Santacroce Palace was crowded. More than 200 people crammed to attend the inauguration of the 161 ° ANPdI parachuting course, titled Aleksandr Prochorenko, the Russian hero who died in Palmyra, Syria.

The presence of the military representatives accredited to the Russian Embassy in Italy was attended by the director of the cultural center Oleg Osipov, the president of ANPd'I of Rome, Adriano Tocchi, and the military assistant of Via Gaeta, Colonel Sergej Čuchrov.

He introduced the director Osipov, doing homework. After a minute of silence and a special tribute to the Russian specnaz (reading his last radio talk), President Tocchi focused on the concept of heroism and downgrading its content imposed by modern society.

Particular space has been given to the uniqueness of parachute specialties, witnesses of the desire to travel an alternative way to the lukewarm values prevailing in today's world.

Words of thanks and sharing from Colonel Čuchrov, who received as a gift the crest of the ANPd'I of Rome and the emblem of the 161 ° course, designed for the occasion with the motto of the Russian parries "Beyond us, none". Words on the sacrifice and on the value of Colonel Stolyarov, a military paratrooper specialist who has reviewed the history of Moscow's aviotroups.

Long applause minutes after the projection of the two video contributions that reminded the performances of the Russian and Italian parades. Also highly appreciated by the technical director "Mimmo" Aloi who explained in detail the operation of the course.

The fervent wait for an event that has had a success even higher than expectations has been rewarded. After the ritual "Scream" of the students and many paratroopers in the hall, in a relaxed atmosphere of friendship and sharing, all of them attended the final toast. Great Italian wine and inevitable Russian vodka for everyone.

Next appointment at the end of the 161 ° course for the delivery ceremony of launch certification certificates.
