The parachute launch qualification course, held at the Parachute Training Center (CAPAR) of Pisa by 139 official students of the 197th "Tenacity" course and 10 officers attending the degree course in Medicine and Surgery, has entered its crucial phase.
After a period of intense training, in fact, at the launch area of Altopascio (LU), the enabling launches with the T10 parachute from C27 aircraft and CH47 helicopter began.
In particular, during the first day of launches, 75 official students of the various weapons of the 197 course took their first launch. Together with the students, the army commander for training, specialization and doctrine, army corps general Giorgio Battisti, and the officers of the military academy command line have also launched.
This activity, framed in the planned off-site training cycle of the 197 ° course, which began last June, represents an important formative moment in which meticulous application in training, courage and physical abilities merge in an exciting and unforgettable experience.
