The scout platoon of the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment trained for two weeks in Livorno, at the headquarters of the 9th Parachute Assault Regiment "Col Moschin".
With the guidance of Special Forces instructors, the unit practiced operations in mountain and urban environments, increasing its ability to acquire information, detect threats, analyze and evaluate the variables of a mission. Furthermore, the techniques for approaching and reporting elements of information to neighboring and superior units, for treating prisoners, freeing hostages and surviving in a hostile environment have been refined.
At the end of the activity, theAfter Action Review (AAR) where, with the contribution of everyone and in particular the instructors of the 9th Assault Regiment, the foundations were laid to consolidate, in future training events, the excellent results achieved and gradually transfer what was learned within the regiment of belonging.
