Presented today in Modena an innovative educational project conceived by the Interdepartmental University Structure of Strategic Sciences (SUISS) of the University of Turin and the Army Application School to increase the preparation of future military leaders in the country.
"Advanced e-learning training for Army officers through virtual learning environments" is the title of the ambitious educational program illustrated during the conference "EMEMitalia 2016 - Design the future!" Promoted by the most important Italian companies of and -learning. The main features of a cutting-edge educational tool, which allows for flexible, specialized training, is presented at the University of Turin and at the institute of military studies: the use of highly innovative digital methodologies and adherence to educational objectives. multidisciplinary and strongly international.
The project, which started in its execution phase in the 2013, was developed in three distinct phases. First of all, the infrastructural arrangements within the Application School necessary to supply the university network; then the connection of the two institutions' "Moodle" computer platforms to allow teachers and students to learn more effectively. Finally the realization of courses with wide interactive contents, such as for example tests and verifications with automatic evaluation, useful to stimulate the individual study and facilitate the verification of students' progress.
Among the objectives of the project is the extension of collaboration with foreign training institutes and cultural growth in the sectors with the greatest technical and scientific connotations.
