The "NASR 2023" exercise conducted by the Italian Army together with the Qatar Emiri Land Forces (QELF).
The activity was developed through an exercise aimed at training the fire support components of the units exercised (Italian and Qatari) and testing APR assets to be used for identifying objectives and guiding fire.
In the presence of the Army Chief of Staff, Army Corps General Pietro Serino, approximately 350 units were employed in the activity.
Attending the most significant moments of the exercise was the Minister of Defense, the Hon. Guido Crosetto, the Italian ambassador to QATAR Paolo Toschi, the deputy chief of staff of the Defense General Carmine Masiello and the commander of the Support Terrestrial Operating Forces Army Corps General Massimo Scala.
