Civil Protection exercise concluded in Cesano

3 December 2016 was held on Saturday at the Training Center for Inhabited Centers of the Army Infantry School, an exercise in the search for missing persons on the surface organized by the detachment of Rome of the Cinofilo da Soccorso Group The Footprints of Askan, Voluntary Association, part of UCIS (Italian Canine Rescue Unit).

The aim of the exercise, which began at 8.00 and ended at 15.30, is to improve and improve the techniques used to search for missing persons using canine units.

The Army, always at the service of the community in the event of public calamity events and therefore aware of the importance of the preparation of specialized operators in this delicate sector, has made available to the association an entire training area of ​​the School of Infantry of about 5 hectares consists of blocks of flats that realistically reproduce a real village.

The synergy between the Civil Protection and the Italian Army makes it possible to share operational methods and logistic-instrumental resources to jointly develop joint initiatives on the issues of emergency management, with a view to optimizing the resources available.
