Change in command of the 32nd Tank Regiment

The changeover of the commander of the 32nd Tank Regiment between Colonel Luigi Valentini, transferor, and Lieutenant Colonel Federico Maddaluno, took place at the "Arduino Forgiarini" barracks in Tauriano.

The ceremony, presided over by the commander of the 132nd "Ariete" armored brigade, Brigadier General Marco Longo, was attended by military and civil authorities, as well as a representation of the "Blue Ribbon" and the Combatant and Armed Associations from the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regions and Veneto. 

In particular, the participation of the honorary president of the National Tankers Association of Italy, general of the army corps Giuseppe Pachera - born in 1922, fighter in the Second World War, partisan of the brigade Garibaldi and former commander of the 32nd Tank Regiment – ​​sealed the fruitful collaboration and friendship between armed and retired tankers, in the wake of traditions.

During his speech, Colonel Valentini addressed words of gratitude, esteem and admiration for the men and women of the 32nd regiment, which he defined "ready and prepared to effectively carry out all the tasks that the Armed Forces will want to entrust them".

As a corollary of the ceremony, a static display of the weapon systems and equipment supplied to the regiment was organised.
