The joint exercise “Una Acies 2017” begins today, which until the end of July will see XNUMX Army soldiers training simultaneously in various locations in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Valle d'Aosta, Lazio and Puglia.
Organized by the Army Training Command and Application School under the supervision of the Army Training, Specialization and Doctrine Command, "Una Acies 2017" aims to consolidate and standardize the training of military academy officers. of Modena, of the marshal students of the Viterbo NCO School, of the officers of the Turin Application School, of the students of the Teulié (Milan) and Nunziatella (Naples) military schools. Thanks to the qualified contribution of units and specialists from the various units of the Armed Force, the exercise constitutes an important opportunity for professional growth for future Army cadres trained "in a single line".
Among the activities planned and conducted in full respect of the environment, shooting with individual weapons, fighting in inhabited areas, tactical elitransport, alpine techniques with ascension to the Gran Paradiso, parachute launch, artillery shots, first aid techniques and topographic guidance exercises . Of particular interest are the moments of cultural deepening in the various places symbol of Italian military history located in the north, center and south of the Peninsula. The exercise also provides numerous opportunities for meeting the population and represents the opportunity for young people to approach the Army even with the prospect of future work choice.
"Una Acies 2017" will finally allow the numerous soldiers coming from all over Italy to appreciate the extraordinary cultural, artistic and naturalistic heritage of the four regions involved in the exercise.
