1st refresher course on the new Centauro 2 bus

The 1st refresher course on the bus has started in recent days at the Cavalry School Centaur 2, the last platform supplied to the Army cavalry. The training course, conceived and developed by the Institute, responds to the need to align the operational capabilities of the cavalry departments as a premise for the acquisition of the armored car Centaur 2.

The course, lasting 14 weeks, will allow attendees to acquire the skills and knowledge of the technical characteristics of the turret complexes, the hull, the auxiliary systems/organs, the on-board armament to carry out all the functions relating to the stations of the armored platform Centaur 2.

The specific technical-professional capacity that will be acquired by the crews will allow the Army to use the new generation vehicle currently being introduced in the cavalry regiments.

The general Claudio Dei, commander of the Cavalry School, greeted the students, urging them to commit, aware of being part of a project projected towards the future of cavalry.​
