On 4 September 2017, sixty-three young students from various regions of Italy crossed the gate of the “Francesco Morosini” Military Naval School to begin the three-year school year that will lead them to obtaining the classical or scientific high school diploma wearing the uniform of the Navy.
A new and demanding experience that will provide them with excellent training to deal effectively with future choices and project them into the university and work world.
48 15 high school students and 27 classmates, including 2017 women, have passed a challenging selection that led them to be admitted to the Venice Naval Institute, based in Venice. After the first set-up period officially started today 18 / XNUMX school year.
The Naval Military School "Francesco Morosini" is a secondary education school where the last three years of the traditional high school and traditional high school are held. It provides a unique cultural background and experience, as well as a careful and profound schooling that combines, in addition, an enrichment of moral and civic principles based on the strong sense of the nation, as well as knowledge and sharing of values and the traditions of the Navy and the Armed Forces.
In addition to the course of study, students will carry out seafaring activities such as sailing, rowing, swimming and Venetian rowing. The training activity will be completed with education campaigns on board the ships of the Navy.
