The Navy, represented by the Comsubin raiders and divers, participated in the 29th edition of the Eudi Show, the most important Italian fair dedicated to the world of diving, which took place in Bologna from 13 to 15 October 2023.

The participation of the Navy through the men of Comsubin represented Italian excellence in the world of diving, in fact visitors of all ages were able to get to know the activities and equipment used up close through demonstrations and illustrations in the dedicated exhibition area to the men of Incursion Operational Group (GOI) and del Diving Operations Group (GOS), two very different realities but which represent excellence in the world of diving.

Thanks to a special tank, visitors were able to observe an operator underwater reproducing the communication procedures with the "surface" by means of a sling, creating a pathos of interest among the over 30.000 spectators participating in the 29th edition. Furthermore, the calendar of the event saw two conferences on the realities of Comsubin, held by the captain Luigi Romagnoli, commander of the Incursion Operational Group and by Lieutenant Commander Gabriele Paparo, head of the Diving School.

The Navy, represented by Admiral Massimiliano Rossi, commander of the divers and raiders group, was awarded by the HSA (Handicapped Scuba Association International) receiving "The Sirena award", a prestigious recognition, established by HSA Italia in 1990 by will of its president Aldo Torti. The award is awarded year after year to people and organizations who, with their commitment, have distinguished themselves in promoting concrete actions in support of underwater, aquatic and marine activities and accessible tourism, in favor of people with disabilities.

Admiral Rossi, representing the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Team Admiral Enrico Credendino, presented the Maiorca 2023 Prize to the graduating scientific researchers who have distinguished themselves in their studies at the marine biology faculties of the Universities of Trieste, Padua and Bologna .
