On 18 November, the great Navy family joined the national initiative "in the pharmacy for children" promoted by the Francesca Rava Foundation - NPH Italia Onlus - on the occasion of the "World Day of Children's Rights".

Thirteen 2nd class students of the Naval Academy alternated with Sailors of Italy of the Livorno group in as many Livorno pharmacies. All this, in a work of awareness aimed at the collection of over-the-counter drugs for pediatric use and baby care products for children living in conditions of health poverty. The collection will be destined in particular to Caritas of Norcia-Spoleto, where the Foundation will also donate a school to children affected by the earthquake of 24 August last.

The famous contemporary French writer, Christian Bobin, said: "children are like sailors: wherever they lay their eyes is the immense".

In the same way, the words of a student, who participated in the social initiative, best convey the impressions and feelings felt: "With simple actions we have tried to sensitize the citizens of Livorno to make a small gesture of solidarity to support children in health poverty. We are particularly pleased to have had the opportunity, for one day, to feel like ambassadors of children's rights, and we hope that there will be other experiences of this importance. "
