Saturday 4 November: Comsubin landlords dive together with the young people of the Spezia at the swimming pool Aldo Mori of the MM

Next Saturday the divers of the Diving and Inshore Pools they will accompany the youngsters of La Spezia under water. It will be a unique experience that will allow all those who present themselves at the Aldo Mori Swimming Pool, located in Viale Nicolò Fieschi n.30, to try to immerse themselves in the air breathing apparatus, led by the instructors of the Diving School of Comsubin (Underwater Command and Incursori).

During the activity, open to all young people from 4 to 22 years, the basics will be given to try to dive and will be provided the complete equipment of a diver: wet suit, tank, dispenser, mask and fins.  

To participate, simply present the 4 November 2017 at the Aldo Mori pool, from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 18.30, with only the costume, a swimming cap, a pair of slippers and a towel.  For minors it will be essential to be accompanied by those who exercise parental authority.

This activity is not the only one that GOS leads to the community. Particularly worthy of mention is the combination of over ten years with the HSA Italia association (Handicapped Scuba Association), which involves the many members of the Navy immersing themselves in a wonderful stage called "Together in immersion in Porto Venere" and the contribution to the realities premises at Comsubin headquarters and SDAI employees, distributed throughout Italy, through which tons of waste have been removed from the seabed.

The Comsubin, representative for Italy for everything concerning the activities of military divers both within the European Defense Agency and NATO, has also become over time the point of reference for those who make diving their passion or profession: it trains diving operators from all the Italian Armed Forces and Police Forces (EI, AM, CC, PS, GdF) and many other nations, intervenes in all public safety contexts where extremely high operational skills are required and collaborates with universities and industry both for the design and implementation of new means, and to promote numerous scientific research initiatives.
