Tuesday 20 at 17.00 "Economy and supercazzole: is the apocalypse at the door?"

19/06/23

With each new government (on average in Italy they last just over a year...) proclamations of sudden successes and miraculous growth clog the front pages of the newspapers.

But don't economic policies need several years - if not decades - to take effect?

With each new government (on average in Italy they last just over a year...) it is trust - even international (!) - in the new leader that allows the country... to get more and more into debt!

In short, for each new government (on average in Italy they last just over a year...) it is an official rhetoric from "Istituto LUCE" that provides the correct and exhaustive picture of the national economic prospects.

Possible that in a growing world on average of 3%, a 1% Italy is "formidable" and not a decadent country that has lost (for the umpteenth time) a 2% compared to the average of the others?

Is it possible that the eighth global economy (in free fall?) is still part of the G7?

What prospects does our country have, beyond sweet propaganda?

We will discuss it Tuesday 20 June at 17.00 with the economist Francesco Pontelli.

See you there!
