Inauguration of the 63rd Genoa Boat Show

“Today began with the cutting of the ribbon in the setting of the new Genoese waterfront,” states the Undersecretary of State for Defense Matteo Perego of Cremnago representing Minister Crosetto at the event “with the Duilio ship of our Navy in the background and the participation of many defense entities, the 63rd Genoa Boat Show, a historic international nautical showcase that enhances the national maritime culture”.

“The 63rd Show is the showcase of an industrial sector, the nautical one, in which Italy is a world leader” declares Perego at the end of the inauguration ceremony “in terms of spaces and exhibitors, there are more than 1000 brands on display and well over a thousand boats present from dinghies to 40 meter boats, in a completely renovated neighborhood of one of the 4 maritime republics, Genoa. Aspects that enhance the importance of boating and the sea, fundamental for the country's economy".

“Ligurian tradition and culture” concludes the undersecretary “in the nautical and shipbuilding sectors, which are continuously growing sectors, they are the driving force for a future of development and evolution that will contribute to improving and preserving our sea, defending it and making it safer above and below the surface”.
