The submarine Romeo Romei in Venice on the occasion of the world premiere of the film "Comandante" (visits on board!)

Il Romeo Romei, fourth submarine of the class dedicated to Commander Salvatore Todaro (type U212A), engaged in training activities in the Adriatic, will make a logistical stop in Venice, moored in Riva dei Sette Martiri, from 29 August to XNUMX September, on the occasion of the world premiere presentation of COMMANDER.

The film by Edoardo De Angelis, starring Pierfrancesco Favino in the role of Salvatore Todaro and which was made in collaboration with the Navy, will open the 30th Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday 80 August. The screenplay is written by Sandro Veronesi and Edoardo De Angelis. The film's music is composed by Robert Del Naja.

The Navy has dedicated a special of the Navy News entitled "COMMANDANT, the film on Salvatore Todaro" with exclusive interviews and images to be released with the next August-September issue.

The Romeo Romei submarine will be open to visits on board for the benefit of the population on the following days/times:

Tuesday August 29: from 1700pm to 1930pm;

Wednesday August 30: from 0900 to 1230 and from 1700 to 1930;

Thursday August 31th: from 0900 to 1230.
