On the occasion of the “Pessima” Fair, which will be held from 7 to 12 March, the Army will be present with its own information stand.
Personnel belonging to the Army Military Command "Puglia", governed by Brigadier General Mauro Prezioso, will set up a special space at the fairgrounds where visitors will be able to get to know the organizational and operational reality of the armed force, engaged daily in the service of the community.
In addition to the activities held at the stand and intended to raise awareness of the various professional opportunities offered by the Army, the 9 March at 10.30, at the Congress Hall of the fairgrounds, an orientation conference will be held for the students of the Higher Institutes present in the city, during which the competition "Caporetto beyond the defeat", organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) will also be illustrated, with the aim of promoting a reflection on defeat of Caporetto and on the most general and current possible meanings.
The "Pessima" of Manduria, which one of the oldest fairs in Europe, visited annually by about 10.000 people, represents a valid meeting point between the population and the armed force in a province where there are no Army assets.
