The 30 October 1914 occurred: Saseno's Occupation

from Italian landing, on board the ships of the Special Division commanded by Admiral Patris, they take land and occupy the island of Saseno. In the Bay of St. Nicholas land official 5, 18 non-commissioned officers and 153 sub-capitals and municipalities.

At the same time, a mission of 15 people, made up of doctors, non-commissioned officers and nurses from the Royal Navy, disembarks from the battleship Dandol in order to set up an emergency medical station in Valona.
